Islam and Qur'an classes
Quran and Islam lessons for children (5 - 12 years)
Our offering:
- Learning to read the Qur’an with Tajwīd and correct pronunciation
- Basic Islamic knowledge (ʿAqīda, Fiqh (ʿIbādāt), Duʿāʾs, Sīra and Aḫlāq )
- 5 days of lessons per week
- Lessons in German
- Year of lessons corresponds to the school year
What we expect:
- Regular attendance, especially on Fridays and Sundays.
- Punctuality
- Compliance with the class rules
Lesson times
- Monday to Wednesday & Friday: 17:30 to 19:15
- Sundays:
- Winter time 10:30 to 12:30
- Summer time 11:30 to 13:30
- The Dhuhr prayer is then performed together.
Note: Quran lessons take place on all days. Islamic lessons take place on Friday and Sunday – therefore attendance is compulsory on these days.
No exceptions can be made for these two days, otherwise important lessons will be missed.
Lesson-free periods
- No lessons during the summer vacations, Christmas vacations and Whitsun vacations
- Days off on both ʿĪd (approx. 1 week per Id)
- In Ramadan, lessons only on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays)
Fees
- Registration fee: €35 per child
- Monthly fee: €40
- From 2 children per family: €35 per child
[Fees are due all year round, even during vacation periods and in case of non-attendance.]

First day of lessons for new students: Friday, 26.09.2025
Prerequisites
- Age: 5 to 12 years
- Personal appearance of a parent/guardian
- Appearance of the child
- Compulsory attendance at lessons, especially on Friday and Sunday
Documents required
- Completed registration form (available on site)
- Original birth certificate for inspection (for foreign certificates with translation, except for English or Arabic certificates)
Other documents
- Trial period of four months for all new students (extendable if necessary)
- The children are kept in this program until the age of 15 at the most.
- After that, transition to a youth program may be possible.

- Last day of lessons: Sunday 26.07.2026

- Winter: 18.12.2025 – 06.01.2026
- Id-ul-Fitr: 20.03. – 22.03.2026
- Pentecost vacations and Id-ul-Adha: 22.05. – 07.06.2026
- Summer vacations: 27.07. – 14.09.2026
Important: During Ramadan, classes only take place on Saturdays and Sundays.
